| ABSTRACT: | Marmota (ASX:MEU) is very pleased to announce that the June drilling program at Aurora Tank has achieved multiple successes. The reconnaissance component of the drilling program was designed to see if new gold mineralisation can be found outside the known mineralisation area at Aurora Tank. By targeting elevated gold in tree leaves, Marmota is very pleased to announce that it has intersected 6m @ 3.4 g/t [ from 44 m to end of hole], located approximately 450m to the NE of the known mineralised zone. [ see Fig.3 ] This discovery hole 19ATAC098 was drilled to test a biogeochemical (Senna tree leaf) gold anomaly. This result is the most significant over an area about 1 km across and it remains open at the end of the hole at 50m depth. It suggests a new zone of potentially economic mineralisation. Other nearby holes contain what looks like secondary dispersion mineralisation suggesting the new zone is open in several directions. Additional drill holes are required to follow up the new mineralisation. Further, a number of drill holes to the NW also located anomalous gold (up to 4m at 0.3 g/t).
