| ABSTRACT: | Marindi Metals Ltd (ASX: MZN; Marindi or the Company) is pleased to advise that it has intersected significant zones of shallow high-grade gold across two emerging prospects at its 100%-owned Forrestania Gold-Lithium Project in WA (see Figure 1). The recently completed gold-focused Reverse Circulation (RC) drill campaign tested the north-eastern extent of the Kit Kat gold prospect, as well as the porphyry-associated “Gemcutter” gold prospect on its 100%-owned Gem Mining Lease (M77/549) and the “Crossroads” gold prospect in the centre of Marindi’s highly prospective tenure (see Figure 1). Drilling at the Gem Mining Lease to test a porphyry-associated gold target, developed by the Marindi exploration team after analyses of a historical (1974) nickel drill-hole, returned thick zones of high-grade gold assays from shallow depths. The new Gemcutter gold prospect is an exciting shallow high-grade gold discovery that is currently being further evaluated by 650m of follow-up RC drilling (see Figures 2 and 3). | |
