| ABSTRACT: | Margaux Resources Ltd. (Margaux or the company) retained Robert A. (Bob) Lane, MSc, PGeo, of Plateau Minerals Corp., the “Qualified Person” (QP) as defined by NI 43-101, to prepare a National Instrument 43- 101 (NI 43-101) Technical Report for its Sheep Creek Project. The Project includes the majority of a significant past-producing orogenic gold vein camp in the West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia, Canada. Margaux is a Canadian mineral acquisition and exploration company listed on the TSX-Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE: MRL), and is actively exploring five other projects in the Kootenay Arc including Jersey-Emerald, Bayonne, Jackpot, Ore Hill and Aspen. This Technical Report provides summaries of project history, geology, mineralization, deposit characteristics, exploration targets, and makes recommendations for future work. 1.2 PROJECT LOCATION, DESCRIPTION AND OWNERSHIP The Sheep Creek Project is located in the historic Sheep Creek gold camp, an area of rugged ridges and steeply incised drainages typical of the Selkirk Mountains. It is centered approximately 12km eastsoutheast of the small community of Salmo in the West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. The Project straddles the eastern boundary of the Kootenay Arc within the Nelson map area and covers part of the Salmo (082F/03) 1:50,000 scale map sheet. The Project is centered approximately at Universal Transverse Mercator (NAD 83, Zone 11) coordinates of 490844 East and 5445089 North or 117.1256° west longitude and 49.1585° north latitude. | |
