ABSTRACT:Manas Resources Limited (ASX-MSR) is pleased to announce an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Shambesai Gold Project to comply with the JORC Code, 2012 Edition reporting framework. The Company has re-issued the Shambesai Gold Project (“SGP”) Mineral Resource estimate to comply with the JORC 2012 reporting framework. In March 2013, the Company reported the SGP Mineral Resource in compliance with the JORC Code, 2004 Edition reporting framework. This release provides additional information to align the resource with the JORC Code, 2012 Edition reporting framework. There has been no change to the resource classification, quantities or grade since the March 2013 Mineral Resource estimate. The Shambesai deposit is a Carlin Style gold deposit hosted within an east west striking, south dipping, folded sequence of carboniferous sedimentary rocks. The Mineral Resource estimate is based on 275 diamond drillholes and 66 trenches in Shambesai. The diamond drilling is primarily from surface at nominal patterns of 25m x 25m, grading to a 50m x 50m patterns at depth. Wireframe solids were generated based on the sectional interpretations to delineate the domains of gold mineralisation by MSR geologists. The lower cut-off grades of 0.2g/t Au for Oxide domains (OX) and Sulphide domains (SUL) were used to define the mineralised envelopes. The ore type and rock type have also been modelled separately. A 1m composite data set for individual domains was used for variography analysis and estimation.
