| ABSTRACT: | High-grade “Crown Jewel” intercept made just 100m from existing trial pit, Crown Jewel gold mineralisation abuts the Southern Stockwork deposit (SSW) and within the recently announced 507,000 ounces of gold resource; MacPhersons Resources Limited (“the Company”) (ASX: MRP) is pleased to announce more excellent RC results to follow up on our recent announcement of 19 January 2018. This drilling is the first part of the current 20,000 metre RC program at the 100% owned Boorara Gold Project 10 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. One RC drilling rig commenced drilling north of the Southern Stockwork deposit on Friday the 13th of April 2017, we are reporting the results of the first 12 holes - 1,464 metres of RC drilling to 27 April 2018. RC Drilling Program Summary These latest gold results relate to 12 RC drill holes (1,464 m) that extend from north of the Southern Stockwork deposit to the Crown Jewel Deposit of the 1.8km Boorara discovery zone (see Table 1, Figures 4 & 5), this area has not been subject to close spaced drilling in the past. The reported drilling results represents the first pass round of wide spaced 40m x 20m RC drilling designed to extend gold mineralisation at Southern Stockwork to the Crown Jewel deposit. This wide spaced drilling has confirmed the position of Boorara dolerite, we are now currently infill RC drilling on a 40m x 10m spacing aiming to intersect the Boorara Dolerite hosted high grade quartz vein array’s, following this work future infill drilling to be at a 20m x 10m spacing. MacPhersons is confident that current infill RC drilling on a 10m hole spacing at Crown Jewel will intersect high gold grade quartz vein arrays potentially up to 20 metres in true width that will be amenable to open pit mining. To date six RC infill drill holes drilled on a 10 metre hole spacing have intersected significant intervals of quartz veining and quartz vein arrays – results are pending for these holes and they will be released in due course. | |
