| ABSTRACT: | MRG Metals (ASX Code: MRQ) is pleased to provide highly significant first laboratory assay results from initial auger drilling on the Corridor South tenement (6621L) (Figure 1). Of particular importance are the high grade results from auger test drilling at the Poiombo target (TMI Anomlay 10 – refer Announcement 13 June 2019) and Nhacutse target (Thorium Anomaly 6 – refer Announcment 4 June 2019), which indicate the potential for the discovery of two new extensive zones of high grade HMS mineralisation (Figure 1 and Figure 2). As was the case with earlier auger drilling at Koko Masava target in the Corridor Central tenement (currently being aircore drilled), a high grade mineralized footprint is again presenting from auger drilling at Nhacutse target. Highest assays to date include Hole 19CSHA048, which returned a high grade, uncut result of 10.5m @ 6.39% THM from surface (Table 1). Poiombo target is also showing significant potential for a further discovery, based on early auger drilling of an ENE-WSW trending TMI magnetic anomaly.
