| ABSTRACT: | MOD Resources Ltd (ASX: MOD) today announced further positive assay results from drilling within the Phase 1 resource area at T3. T3 is part of a joint venture with AIM-listed Metal Tiger Plc (30%) in the Kalahari Copper Belt, Botswana. Assays w ere received in two batches from seven holes (MO-G-33D to MO-G-39D), mainly located in the northern part of the T3 Phase 1 resource area. Five of the latest holes intersected significant widths of copper and silver, similar to previously announced intersections in this area (Figure 1). Tw o shallow holes (MO-G-38D and MO-G-39D) located near the SW boundary of the resource area intersected oxidised sediments with no significant intersections (Figure 1). Recent assay results listed above are in line with expectations and have been forwarded to the independent resource consultant in South Africa who is conducting the T3 resource estimate. The resource area has also been extended with three deeper holes (MO-G-49D, MO-G-50D and MO-G-51D) drilled 100m north of previous holes along the northern boundary of the resource area. Copper sulphides w ere intersected in all three holes and assay results are awaited to determine grades. Results are awaited from 13 completed resource drill holes at T3 and a number of RC holes completed at T2. Results will be announced when they have been received and interpreted. | |
