ABSTRACT:The Sal de los Angeles Project, that covers the vast majority of Salar de Diablillos, is an advanced exploration stage brine project that is characterized by elevated lithium, potassium, and boron hosted in a high altitude salar, or evaporitic basin. On March 3, 2016 Lithium X Energy Corporation (TSX.V: LIX) (LiX) entered into an agreement with Aberdeen International Inc (TSX: AAB) to acquire up to 80% of Potasio y Litio de Argentina S.A. (PLASA), which owns 100% of the Sal de los Angeles Project. The company intends to develop the project from resource through to feasibility using a combination of extraction wells and surface ponds to produce concentrated brine. The first step, which is the subject of this technical report, is to integrate historical brine geochemical analyses with historical and more recent hydrogeological data in order to provide an updated mineral resource estimate. Recommendations for advancing the project are also included as part of this technical report. The Project is currently in development with further definition of the mineral resource and assessment of the metallurgical test work to define the process flow sheet and project economics. It is recommended by the authors that the Sal de los Angeles Project is moved forward to (pre)feasibility. A work program should be executed to continue upgrading the Project resource estimate and develop reserve estimate in support of the (pre)feasibility study.
