| ABSTRACT: | Lithium Australia NL (ASX: LIT) is pleased to report further assay results from its maiden RC drilling programme (announced 5 August 2019) within the Youanmi project area1 . These include significant widths of high-grade lithium mineralisation. Drilling has now confirmed mineralisation over 2.5 km of strike, with assays reporting significant widths of high-grade lepidolite (lithium mica) mineralisation hosted in LCT pegmatites. Multiple stacked pegmatites have been intercepted in RC drill fences along this strike. Drilling has shown that the pegmatites dip at shallow angles (20-30°) towards the east. Mineralisation remains open down dip and along strike and further drill testing will be required to determine the extent of the mineralised system. Comment from Lithium Australia managing director Adrian Griffin "These results from our maiden drill programme – which confirm significant lithium mineralisation Youanmi – are most encouraging. The lithium is hosted in lepidolite, a lithium mica ideally suited to processing via our proprietary SiLeach® technology.
