ABSTRACT:Lithium Australia NL (ASX:LIT), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Trilithium Erzgebirge AG, is in the process of acquiring a 100% beneficial interest in the Sadisdorf deposit. Sadisdorf is a mothballed tin mine within a “greisen” (altered granite) the pervasive alteration consisting of lithium micas (Figure 1) The project presently contains an Inferred Resource of 25Mt @ 0.45 Li2O (ASX announcement 7 December 2017) however the program reported shows potential for future resource increases. The project is located in Saxony, Germany, close the border with the Czech Republic as shown in Figure 2. The project is in close proximity to Deutsche Lithium’s Zinnwald deposit and European Metals’ Cinovec deposit (Czech Republic). The location is significant in terms of its proximity to the rapidly expanding European electric vehicle and battery industries. Lithium Australia’s maiden drilling program at Sadisdorf totalled 3 drill holes. Location and orientation details are listed in Table 1. Drill hole SDDH-17-02TA was drilled due to SDDH-17-02T having deviated from the designed drill path. As the holes were drilled to confirm historic results (twin holes) the section is 10o oblique to grid (Figure 3).
