The drilling program comprised 33 holes for a total of 2,896m and was designed to provide an additional 4 tonnes of sample for further metallurgical test work. Preliminary test work on 300kg (six holes) of sample confirmed the potential to produce a saleable spodumene concentrate from Kathleen Valley (see ASX release dated 12th November 2018). The next stage of test work, which is expected to be completed by mid-2019, is designed to The latest drill holes were sited (Figure 1) to ensure that test work is carried out on a sample representative of the optimised, open-pittable portion of the global Mineral Resource, which comprises 21.2Mt @ 1.4% Li2O and 170ppm Ta2O5 (see ASX release dated 4th September 2018). Drill holes targeted dip extensions of the mineralisation as indicated by the geological model used to prepare the Mineral Resource.
