| ABSTRACT: | Legend Mining Limited (“Legend”) is pleased to provide aircore assay results for a further 16 drillholes and additional petrology from the current and ongoing aircore drilling programme at Area D, Rockford Project in the Fraser Range of Western Australia, (see Figure 1). A technical discussion is contained in the body of this announcement. Legend Managing Director Mark Wilson said, “We now have a significant >0.2% nickel and >0.1% copper footprint around holes 151 and 183 including a >100m wide zone of visible sulphides in the same host rock as the Nova-Bollinger orebody. These are outstanding outcomes from our ongoing aircore drilling programme. The further confirmation of a second mineralised intrusive around holes 167 and 230 is another positive outcome and supports the premise of multiple prospective intrusions at Area D”. The 2018 aircore drilling programme at Area D targeting selected aeromagnetic and gravity features is ongoing with a total of 95 holes (RKAC181-275) now completed (see Figures 1 & 2). Recent drilling has focussed on infill holes adjacent to RKAC151, RKAC183 and RKAC167, all of which returned anomalous Ni-Cu-Co results associated with highly prospective gabbronorite host rocks, and three regional traverses over aeromagnetic lows | |
