ABSTRACT:King River Copper Limited (ASX: KRC) is pleased to advise that Mining Industry Consultants CSA Global Pty Ltd (CSA Global) has completed an updated resource estimate reporting in accordance with the JORC Code (2012)1 for its 100% owned Speewah V-Ti-Fe Project in the Kimberley of Western Australia (Figure 1). A summary report prepared by CSA Global also forms part of this ASX release (refer Appendix), including JORC Table 1. The updated Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource, reported at a 0.23% V2O5 cut-off grade from the Central, Buckman and Red Hill deposits (Figure 1) comprises 4,712 million tonnes at 0.3% V2O5, 2% Ti and 14.7% Fe. The Speewah Mineral Resource estimate is based on analysis of data collected from several reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling campaigns and geological mapping from 2006 to 2011. Drilling has delineated three vanadium-titanium bearing magnetite deposits within the Hart Dolerite sill intrusion in the Speewah Dome, referred to as Central, Buckman and Red Hill (Figure 1). The vanadium-titanium bearing magnetite deposits occur within a gabbro unit in the large layered sill complex. The unit is characterised by the presence of disseminated 1-2 mm vanadiferous magnetite and scattered ilmenite grains which increase in abundance toward the base of the unit. The majority of the Mineral Resources occur at a shallow depth because of the near horizontal dipping geometry of the magnetite gabbro unit which is up to 80 metres thick and outcrops in places. The highest vanadium grades occur in the basal zone of the magnetite gabbro unit overlain by a zone of lower vanadium grade. The vanadium (-titanium) mineralisation is very continuous laterally and each resource extends for several kilometres along strike and are 1 to 2 kilometres wide (Figure 1). These properties of the deposits suggest it is likely that the Mineral Resource should be accessible by open pit mining methods.
