ABSTRACT:Kin Mining NL (ASX: KIN) is pleased to provide results from the recent drilling within the Cardinia and Mertondale Mining Centres of the Leonora Gold Project (LGP) (Figure 1). Drilling was focused on known deposits within the LGP with the aim of adding to the knowledge on controls of primary mineralisation. Drilling was conducted at Bruno, Lewis, Helens, Helens South, Mertondale 2 and Mertondale 3-4. Kin Mining CEO Andrew Munckton said: “The consistent, high-grade zone quickly shaping up between and below the planned open pits at Helens, is an exciting development for the Leonora Gold Project. The potential to extend the existing resources into the fresh rock has positive implications for future mine planning and project economics. Our next phase of drilling at Helens is currently being planned and we expect further results from this area early in the September quarter.” He added; “The other areas of the project, including Mertondale and Bruno-Lewis also hold deeper drilling potential which will be further assessed as drilling results come to hand.” A second phase of resource definition drilling for the Helens prospects is currently being planned and will test depth extensions to 160m below surface in addition to infill drilling. The second phase drilling will include additional diamond drilling for metallurgical testwork and geotechnical information. Recent metallurgical testwork on fresh material from the Helens area resulted in recovery between 90.5% and 95.4% from 2.14 g/t Au to 2.54 g/t Au material at a P80 grind size of 75um
