ABSTRACT:Kidman Resources Limited (ASX: KDR) (“Kidman or the “Company”) is pleased to advise that step out drilling has extended the known length of its Earl Grey lithium pegmatite by another 500m, taking it to ~1.9km. Earl Grey, which is within the Mt Holland Project near Southern Cross in WA, has now been outlined over an area measuring ~1.9km by up to 750m and remains open in multiple directions. It also sits on an existing Mining Lease. The latest extension to the known mineralisation results from drilling down-dip to the north, where the pegmatite remains open. Assays are awaited on this latest extension. This drilling is targeting the pegmatite that sits directly below the Twining’s Gold Resource which is 2012 JORC Compliant (see ASX Announcement 18th December 2015). Kidman will begin to explore several scenarios that may positively impact on the Northern extents of the Earl Grey pegmatite. Kidman also advises that the latest assays from the resource drilling program at Earl Grey continue to demonstrate the continuity of the wide, high-grade lithium mineralisation. The resource drilling, which was completed about a fortnight ago, was conducted over the initial 1.4km by 750m area. The maiden Resource estimate is on track for release early next month. Metallurgical test work is continuing on the Earl Grey Pegmatite with preliminary findings expected within the next few weeks. Kidman has also commenced drilling at the Prince of Wales pegmatite, located on the same geological structure as Earl Grey approximately 2.5km North of Earl Grey. RAB drilling by explorers in the 1970s and 1980s delineated pegmatite near the surface but no lithium assaying was undertaken. Drilling is now testing these occurrences, with the merits of further drilling to be determined once lithium mineralisation is confirmed. Earl Grey and Prince of Wales are just two of several extensive pegmatites outlined at Mt Holland.
