| ABSTRACT: | KGL Resources Limited (ASX: KGL) (KGL or the Company) is pleased to announce updated Mineral Resource estimates for KGL’s 100% owned Jervois Copper Project in the Northern Territory. Commenting on the new Mineral Resources, KGL Chairman Mr Denis Wood said: “The updated resource estimates for the Jervois Copper Project are excellent, and when viewed together with the drilling exploration potential from the wider tenement package, allow KGL to continue to build momentum as it progresses towards key decisions for the development of Jervois as a highly attractive copper project. “Contained copper has been increased, and most importantly we have a resource of significantly higher quality which the board believe underwrites a robust base-case mining scenario now being developed. “For the first time the discoveries at the Rockface prospect are included – estimated at more than 90,000 tonnes of contained copper at close to 3%, the highest average copper grades at Jervois. “Also included is the recent high-grade underground extension at Reward which is still in its early stages of exploration. “These new additions to mineralisation more than offset the reductions in the resource estimates caused by applying higher cut-off grades to deeper parts of the mineralisation and by excluding the low-grade Cox’s Find and Rockface Open Pit resource estimates.” | |
