ABSTRACT:Jindalee Resources Limited (‘Jindalee’) is pleased to announce further assay results from the drill program recently completed at its 100% owned McDermitt lithium project. Results have now been received from 3 of the 9 holes drilled (Figure 1). The remaining 6 holes from the recent program are currently being processed by the assay laboratory in Reno, Nevada and assays are expected in the coming weeks. The assays just received from MDD-009, and MDD-010 once again show a consistent picture of multiple zones of lithium mineralisation within the overall sedimentary package, while geological logging shows a broadly consistent package of rock units that can be correlated across large areas at McDermitt (Figure 2). This correlation is ongoing but initial work indicates it is consistent with that determined from the limited drilling undertaken in 2018. Whilst the 4 holes drilled in 2018 terminated in sediments, the majority of holes drilled in 2019 penetrated the entire sedimentary section and intersected the volcanic basement (a basalt) at varying depths. The depth to basement typically increases to the south and southeast, with the deepest hole drilled to date (MDD-011) penetrating over 176m of sediments.
