ABSTRACT:Jindalee Resources Limited (’Jindalee’ or ‘Company’) is pleased to announce the remaining assay results have been received from its initial drill program at McDermitt. The 100% owned McDermitt Project comprises 242 placer mineral claims covering approximately 4840 acres (19.6 km2 ) of Bureau of Land Management (‘BLM’) managed land, approximately 25km west of the town of McDermitt on the Nevada-Oregon border (Figures 1, 2). Four vertical diamond drill holes were completed by Jindalee in September to an average depth of 90m to gain an understanding of the thickness and grade of lithium mineralisation recognised from previous surface sampling1 (Figure 3, Table 1). Drilling confirmed flat-lying, lithium bearing sediments up to 92m thick including tuffaceous sandstones, siltstones and mudstones. The lithium enriched sedimentary package remains open at depth, with basement not reached in the recent program. Drill holes MDD-002 and MDD-003 were located approximately 1.6km and 3km respectively to the north-northeast of MDD-001 (Figure 3) and intersected very similar stratigraphic units to those noted in MDD-001. The three distinct zones of lithium mineralisation identified in MDD-0012 are also apparent in MDD-002 and MDD-003, demonstrating excellent lateral continuity of stratigraphy and lithium mineralisation over significant distances. In all cases the thickest and highest lithium grades were returned from an olive green to brown mudstone unit (Figure 4). Hole MDD-004 exhibited the thickest zones and highest grades of mineralisation3 which also appear to transgress the most obvious stratigraphic boundaries, making this area an obvious target for follow up work. Broad scale mapping of the project area undertaken by the Company supports correlation of units, in particular the mineralised horizons, between drill holes. Jindalee will now commence calculation of an exploration target across the multiple lithium mineralised zones, ahead of follow up activities.
