ABSTRACT:Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (RPA) was retained by Jaguar Mining Inc. (Jaguar) to assist in preparation of an update of the Mineral Reserves and Mineral Resources for the Turmalina Mine, located in Minas Gerais state, Brazil, and to prepare an independent Technical Report. The purpose of this report is to support disclosure of the updated Mineral Reserves and Mineral Resources at the Project. This Technical Report conforms to NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. RPA visited the property several times in 2014, with the most recent site visit on November 20, 2014. All currency in this report is in US dollars (US$) unless otherwise noted. Jaguar is a Canadian mining company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Jaguar's current gold operations, Turmalina and Caeté, are located in the Iron Quadrangle region, a prolific greenstone belt near the city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Mineral Resource estimate for the Turmalina Mine with an effective date of December 31, 2016 is summarized in Table 1-1. The Mineral Resources are estimated for the Turmalina Mine (Orebodies A, B, and C) and Faina and Pontal deposits, and conform to Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum Definition Standards for Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves dated May 10, 2014 (CIM definitions). A cut-off grade of 2.10 g/t Au was used to report the Mineral Resources for the Turmalina Mine, and cut-off grades of 3.8 g/t Au and 2.9 g/t Au were used to report the Mineral Resources for the Faina and Pontal deposits, respectively. The Mineral Resources are inclusive of the Mineral Reserves.
