| ABSTRACT: | Intermin Resources Limited (ASX: IRC) (“Intermin” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce new mineralisation has been discovered at the Peyes Farm gold prospect within the 100% owned Teal gold project located 12km northwest of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia (Figures 1 and 2). The program comprised 73 holes for 5,761m and included aircore and reverse circulation (“RC”) drilling to explore for extensions to existing mineralisation, confirm areas designed for mine infrastructure and to install mine dewatering bores. All results received to date are include in Table 1 with anomalous interval shown as >0.2g/t Au. It is expected that all remaining results from this program including individual 1m split samples from resampled anomalous intervals will be returned in the next 3-4 weeks. Upon interpretation of the results up to 5,000m of follow up RC drilling will be undertaken in order to better understand the geology and compile a Mineral Resource Estimate as sufficient mineralisation is defined. The Company is highly encouraged by the results, particularly with the open mineralisation intersected at the Peyes Farm prospect. Gold mineralisation has been intersected in both oxide and primary forms with quartz and sulphide minerals identified at depth. The Teal and Peyes Farm mineralisation is situated parallel and sub parallel to the north-south trending Abattoir Shear Zone that extends for approximately 4km south of the Peyes intercepts within the Teal project area (Figure 2). | |
