ABSTRACT:Intermin Resources Limited (ASX: IRC) (“Intermin” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce new mineralisation has been discovered at the Peyes Farm gold prospect within the 100% owned Teal gold project located 11km northwest of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia (Figures 1 and 2). The completed program comprised 73 holes for 5,761m and included aircore and reverse circulation (“RC”) drilling to explore for extensions to existing mineralisation, confirm areas designed for Teal mine infrastructure and to install Teal mine dewatering bores. All results have been received with drill hole collar details and significant downhole intervals >0.20g/t Au included in Table 1. The Peyes Farm Prospect is separated from Teal by 600m of sporadic oxide mineralisation located on the Peyes Farm Shear which is parallel to the regional Abattoir Shear. Peyes stratigraphy is dominated by a steep dipping, north striking sequence of felsic tuffs, porphyries and intermediate volcanics. The rocks are strongly foliated with silica-carbonate-pyrite mineralisation associated with auriferous quartz veins usually adjacent to contact zones. The distribution of the sub-parallel quartz lodes is effected by cross cutting faults, tectonic stretching and variable leaching profiles. An accelerated follow up RC and diamond drilling program will commence as soon as practicable in October to provide additional grade, structural and geological information to compile Mineral Resource Estimates if sufficient mineralisation is defined. Additional information will be released as it comes to hand.
