| ABSTRACT: | Intermin Resources Limited (ASX: IRC) (“Intermin” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce drilling results from the December Quarter 20161 reverse circulation (“RC”) program at the 100% owned Goongarrie Lady gold project located 90km north of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia (Figure 2 and 4). The program comprised five RC holes for 264m (maximum depth of 60m) and were also positioned to provide representative metallurgical samples from across the known Resource (Figure 1, 2 and 3) and samples for waste characterisation analysis. The current Mineral Resource Estimate for Goongarrie Lady is predominantly comprised of oxide mineralisation and was updated in 2016 (Table 1). All 1m assay results from the current program have been received with drill hole collar details and significant downhole intervals > 1.0g/t Au provided in Table 2. Commenting on the project Intermin’s Managing Director, Mr Jon Price said the results have validated historic work and provided improved confidence to move Goongarrie Lady to the next phase. “Goongarrie Lady is shaping up nicely as our next project in the production pipeline after Teal Stage 1 and has the potential to become a shallow low strip ratio oxide pit with good grade and lower capital development costs.
