| ABSTRACT: | Hot Chili Limited (ASX code HCH) (“Hot Chili” or “Company”) is pleased to announce that diamond drilling is continuing to record exceptional widths of mineralisation from shallow depths at the Cortadera copper-gold porphyry discovery, located along the Chilean coastal range, 600km north of Santiago. The Company's initial focus on the definition of a recently discovered high grade zone at Cortadera's largest porphyry (Cuerpo 3) is now revealing the presence of a vertically extensive high grade core, substantially enhancing the bulk tonnage underground development potential of Cortadera. New results returned for diamond (DD) drill hole CRP0019D have confirmed high grade copper and gold at end-of-hole indicating a significant broadening of the distribution of the high grade zone at depth. In addition, an extraordinary 970m width of mineralised and strongly mineralised porphyry has been recorded from surface in DD hole CRP0020D, with results expected to be released shortly. These holes, in addition to the first high grade discovery DD hole CRP0013D (188m grading 0.9% copper and 0.4g/t gold within a broader intersection of 750m grading 0.6% copper and 0.2g/t gold) have begun to outline the potential for a much larger high grade core extending below the currently defined shallow-dipping high grade zone only recently discovered at Cuerpo 3. | |
