ABSTRACT:Highfield Resources (ASX: HFR) (“Highfield” or “the Company”) is pleased to provide an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Company’s flagship Muga Potash Project (“Muga” or “the Project”). This update relates to the new Mineral Resource Statement authored by SRK, as reported in Table 1. Changes from the previous statement released in November 2015, which was authored by CRN, are reported in Table 2. The overall Mineral Resource tonnage has increased by 3.7 Mt to 267.4 Mt. The grade of the Mineral Resource has decreased from 13.5% K2O to 12.4% K2O. The main reason for this is the use of a lower cut-off grade for the 2018 Mineral Resource Estimate of 8% overall K2O instead of 8% K2O-in-sylvinite. Since the completion of the previous Mineral Resource Estimate, the geological model has been updated to incorporate two additional drill holes in the centre of the deposit, namely J15-02 and R-03, see Figures 1, 2 and 3. The updated geological model was created in Strat 3D and Studio RM software, property of Datamine. Variograms were updated and successfully modelled for the main horizons and these parameters used to inform the grade estimation which was completed using Ordinary Kriging (“OK”) for all major horizons, rather than Inverse Distance Weighting Cubed as per the previous estimate. The estimated block model was classified by SRK into Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources, in accordance with the guidelines of the JORC Code. Please refer to Appendix 1 for more detail.
