ABSTRACT:Helix Resources Limited (ASX:HLX) (Helix or the Company) is pleased to provide an update on the 3,500m reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drill (DDH) program testing for continuity and extensions of the high-grade Central Zone massive sulphide at the Collerina Copper Deposit. The first batch of assays collected from holes CORC093, 94 and 95 have been received with high-grade copper returned from zones of chalcopyrite bearing massive and semi-massive sulphide (refer Figure 1). CORC094 has returned 10m@ 3.7% Cu, 0.17g/t Au, 0.15% Zn and 6.6g/t Ag from 161m. The hole was targeting a re-modelled DHEM conductor plate, in a 90m “gap” in the drilling pattern between high-grade intercepts 12m @ 5% Cu from in CORC019 and 9m @ 2.5% Cu in CORC033¹ (Refer Figure 2). chalcopyrite mineralisation seen approximately 300m further down plunge in CORC090 (0.85m @ 17.8% Cu within 3.5m @ 4.7% Cu). The intercept is important as it demonstrates continuity of a thicker high-grade copper bearing sulphide mineralisation zone along the entire plunge plane from the discovery hole of 14m @ 4% Cu in CORC002 at 80m from surface through to the deeper mineralisation. Assays from infill hole CORC95 higher in the Central zone have also been received returning and intercept of 3m @ 1.5% Cu, 0.2g/t Au from 127m in a more pyrite-rich (FeS) zone. This hole demonstrates the continuity of broad sulphide bearing unit throughout the Collerina system, and provides further evidence that thicker copper-rich sulphide zones are likely to controlled by localised folding and structural thickening/re-mobilisation. This relationship was first identified in the 2017 geological and structural review and is also consistent with other deposits in the district. Assays from the additional linkage holes and hole targeting the strong EM conductor near to CORC088 (4m @ 3.4% Cu) are awaited, with further drilling including diamond tails underway targeting the deeper plunge of the system.
