| ABSTRACT: | Hawkstone Mining Limited (ASX:HWK) (Hawkstone or Company) is pleased to announce further results from its fully funded 37-hole drilling program at its Big Sandy Lithium-Clay Project, located 2.5 hours’ drive northwest of Arizona’s state capital, Phoenix (Figure 3). During 2018, Hawkstone announced that Phase 1 of its diamond drilling (DD) program (circa 1,500m) had successfully identified a clay-hosted lithium mineralised zone measuring 3,000m x 1,000m (Northern Mineralised Zone). The current 37-hole Phase 2 DD program (circa 3,700m) commenced in mid-February testing the lateral extent of clay hosted lithium mineralisation within the Northern Mineralised Zone. This announcement summarises assay results received from 5 additional DD holes drilled at Big Sandy (DHQ33, DHQ34, DHQ35, DHQ24 and DHQ26), with assay results pending from a further 2 DD holes (DHQ25 and DHQ36). PHASE 2 PROJECT DRILLING (DETAILED) Assay results from drill-holes DHQ33, DHQ34 and DHQ35 (Figure 1) are reported below, with drilling designed to test the continuity and lateral extent of mineralisation encountered in the previously announced results from the Phase 2 programme4,5,6,7 and drill-holes from the Phase 1 drilling program8 . | |
