| ABSTRACT: | On June 29, 2017, GERC completed a transaction with Teck Ireland Ltd. (“TIL”, a wholly owned subsidiary of Teck Resources Limited, “Teck Resources”) to purchase TIL’s 60% equity interest in Ballinalack Resources Limited (“BLK JV”), a joint venture company which wholly owns eleven (11) prospecting licences (“PLs”) covering the Project, located in Counties Westmeath and Longford, Ireland. The remaining 40% equity interest in the BLK JV is held by Zhongjin Lingnan Mining (hk) Company Limited (“Nonfemet”), a China based company engaged in the mining and processing of lead, zinc and other non-ferrous metals. As independent geologists and qualified persons (QPs), the Authors were requested to review the available exploration data for the Project to confirm that it hosts a substantial, historical (non NI43-101 compliant) zinclead deposit and is of considerable technical merit to warrant further work. The Authors have been requested to opine on the efficacy and effectiveness of the exploration programme (to be implemented by the BLK JV), set out in this report. This report outlines the previous work carried out on the Project and particularly by TIL from 2005 to the date of this report. This Technical Report is to support an initial public offering of shares in GERC and listing of its securities on the TSX Venture Exchange. | |
