ABSTRACT:A total of 118 aircore holes were drilled for 3,776 metres on a wide-spaced grid to verify and improve interpreted stratigraphy. Downhole assay results have identified a significant zone of coincident Ni, Cu and PGE anomalism over a strike extent of almost 3 kilometres. Maximum Ni values define a +1500ppm anomaly coincident with +100ppm Cu and +10ppb PGE anomalism. Bottom of hole anomalism displays separated zones of Cu and PGE anomalism which are offset from the central Ni anomaly (Figure 2). The geochemical anomaly extends from the Winchester Prospect in the north to the southern tenement boundary. Previous drilling at Winchester by Ausgold Limited and GBR (see ASX announcement dated 13th March 2019) has identified significant Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mineralisation. Importantly the geochemical anomalism associated with mineralisation at Winchester is discrete, with only minor enrichment of Cu (+100ppb) and Ni (+300ppm) at the base of weathering.
