ABSTRACT:The 5,000 hectare Surprise Lake Project, NTS map sheets 104N/11 & 12E, is centered at a latitude 59°38’N and a longitude of 13328’W, approximately 8 km east of the town of Atlin, northwestern British Columbia, which is 180 km by highway southeast of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. The Surprise Lake Project consists of 33 contiguous Mineral Titles Online claims within the Atlin Mining Division, northwestern British Columbia. The property is road accessible, with good access across the claims and proximal to hydro-electric power. The claims are registered to DeCoors Mining Corp., British Columbia, subject to a Letter of Intent whereby Gray Rock Resources Ltd. can earn a 100% interest. The report was prepared to support requirements of the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) by Gray Rock Resources Ltd. A total of $160,536.36 has been spent on the Surprise Lake Project in the last three years. The Surprise Lake Project is underlain by a structurally higher, imbricated sequence of metabasalt and ultramafic lithologies (Atlin ophiolitic assemblage) in the northwest property area, tectonically superimposed over a lithologically diverse sequence of steeply to moderately dipping, intercalated slices of pelagic metasedimentary rocks with pods and slivers of metabasalt, limestone and greywacke (Atlin accretionary complex) in the southeast property area. The above units have been intruded by tonalite of the Middle Jurassic Fourth of July batholith in the extreme northwest property area, and granitealaskite of the Surprise Lake batholith in the extreme northeast property area and possibly related feldspar porphyry dykes.
