| ABSTRACT: | Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX:GMR; Golden Rim, Company) advises that it has received highly encouraging assay results from its recent Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at the Patricia Zinc-Silver-Lead Prospect (Patricia) at its Paguanta Project (Paguanta) in Chile (Figure 1, Tables 1 & 2). All assays from the RC drilling have been received. A significant new intercept of 6m at 2.0% zinc, 0.8% lead, 346 g/t silver, 0.3 g/t gold (9.5% ZnEq) (93m - 99m), including 1m at 5.6% zinc, 3.0% lead, 1,750 g/t silver, 0.7 g/t gold (41.7% ZnEq) (Hole PTRC-17-123) was obtained at the intersection of the recently mapped south-east trending extension of the Cathedral Vein and the east-west trending Carlos and New Veins at Patricia. This new intercept is located 100m up-dip (100m closer to surface) than previous Hole PTDD049 that intersected 7.6m at 4.3% zinc, 2.0% lead, 247 g/t silver, 0.1 g/t gold (10.4% ZnEq) (186m – 193.6m) (Figure 2). Hole PTRC-17-115 intersected 2m at 9.4% zinc, 2.7% lead, 96 g/t silver, 0.1 g/t gold (13.1% ZnEq) (214m – 216m) on the Carlos and New Veins approximately 150m along strike to the west of the current Mineral Resource. Golden Rim’s geological mapping in this area has outlined outcropping Carlos and New Veins for a further 140m to the west of Hole PTRC-17-115 suggesting even further extensions to this ore grade mineralisation are possible in this area. | |
