| ABSTRACT: | Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX: GMR, Golden Rim, Company) is pleased to announce that it has completed its first diamond drilling program at the Paguanta Project (Paguanta) and has received assays for the first three diamond drill holes (PTDD-17-131, PTDD-17-132 and PTDD-17-133) (gold assays are pending). The diamond drilling program was comprised of seven holes for a total of 3,189m. All seven holes intercepted zinc-silver-lead mineralisation (Figure 1). Zinc-silver-lead mineralisation has been intercepted in all seven diamond drill holes completed in Golden Rim’s first drilling program at Paguanta. Golden Rim expects to significantly increase the current Mineral Resource with additional zinc-silver-lead mineralisation discovered along strike to the east, to the south and at depth. Golden Rim plans to conduct a 3,500m RC drilling program designed to test for strike extensions of the mineralisation to the east-southeast and to the south. The program is expected to commence late March 2017. The Company will update the market with drilling results as they come to hand. Golden Rim’s Managing Director, Craig Mackay, said “We are particularly excited about the discovery of the new Lell Vein to the south of the current Mineral Resource and the discovery of mineralisation at least 200m below the current Mineral Resource.” “With further drilling, the Company anticipates it will be able to significantly increase the current zinc-silver-lead Mineral Resource at Paguanta in preparation for re-commencement of a feasibility study towards the end of 2017” said Mr Mackay. | |
