| ABSTRACT: | Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX: GMR) (Golden Rim or Company) is pleased to announce the latest reverse circulation (RC) drilling results from holes targeting extensions to the gold mineralisation in the immediate Mineral Resource area at its 100% owned Kouri Gold Project (Kouri) in Burkina Faso. The latest assay results are for a further 34 new RC holes drilled in the immediate Mineral Resource area (BARC280 – BARC313) and for an extension to previous hole BARC259. Drill hole location details and significant gold intercepts for these holes are depicted in Figure 1 and Tables 1 and 2. Commenting on the latest results, Golden Rim’s Managing Director, Craig Mackay, said: “Our recent RC drilling in the immediate Mineral Resource area has been highly successful. The new drilling results demonstrate the potential for substantial strike and depth extensions to a number of gold lodes that comprise the Mineral Resource. “In addition, a number of new gold lodes that lie 100m south of the resource have been delineated. These lodes include a number of shallow high grade oxide intercepts, such as 6m at 25.2 g/t gold, and extend for at least 400m. They also remain open along strike and at depth.” “The upside potential at Kouri is outstanding. Moving forward, we plan to conduct further RC and diamond drilling in the immediate Mineral Resource area. In addition, we plan to systematically explore the new regional target areas to the southwest of the Mineral Resource that have been identified by auger drilling.” | |
