| ABSTRACT: | Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX: GMR) (Golden Rim or Company) is pleased to announce the latest drilling results from its major resource definition drilling program at its 100% owned Kouri Gold Project (Kouri) in Burkina Faso. Assay results for a further 13 reverse circulation (RC) holes drilled on the Guitorga Lodes have been received (BARC206 – BARC217). The results include assays from the previous 650m gap in the drilling along the Guitorga Lodes. Within this area, multiple parallel zones of gold mineralisation have been intersected suggesting the mineralisation that comprises the Guitorga Lodes continues through the gap and can be incorporated in the planned Mineral Resource estimation. Further, two closely spaced intersections of 6m at 2.8 g/t gold from 67m, including 1m at 12.6 g/t gold and 26m at 1.6 g/t gold from 79m, including 1m at 12.6 g/t gold (Hole BARC206) have outlined one of the broadest zones of gold mineralisation discovered at Kouri to date. Drill hole location details and significant gold intercepts for these holes are depicted in Figures 1 and 2, and Tables 1 and 2. Commenting on the results, Golden Rim’s Managing Director, Craig Mackay, said: “The results from the current drilling program continue to exceed our expectations. Our latest results suggest the multiple zones of gold mineralisation that comprise the Guitorga Lodes extend through the 650m gap in the previous drilling. In particular, the thickness of the newly discovered mineralisation is highly encouraging and demonstrates the significant upside potential of Kouri. | |
