| ABSTRACT: | VANCOUVER, April 25, 2018 /CNW/ - GOLDCORP INC. (TSX: G, NYSE: GG) ("Goldcorp"or the"Company") is pleased to providean update on its 2018 exploration program. Representative drillresultsare provided below; websitelinks to further information including full drill results, drillcoordinates, quality assuranceand quality controlinformation and relevant diagramsare provided at theend ofeach section. "Weare very excited about the 2018 exploration programwhich got underway during thefirst quarter. Theexploration strategy remains unchanged with afocus on reservereplacementand newtarget generation,"said PaulHarbidge, Senior Vice-President, Exploration. "Leveraging thesuccess we had in 2017 in advancing newtargets such as Amerikonaat Coffee,and Silica Cap at Cerro Negro, we havean aggressive programahead of us this year to advancetargets fromourcoreassets through conversion ofresources into reserves. I'mvery confident in our ability to reach our targeted 20%increasein reserves by 2021." Exploration at Goldcorp's operating and developingminescontinued with drilling programs primarily aimed towards updatingmineralresourceand mineralreserveestimatesas part of ourannualcycleat theend ofthethird quarter 2018,and identification ofadditionalmineralresource growth opportunities within near minelocations. Arenewed generativeexploration focus isalso underway atallsites towards making newdiscoveries on the Company's large, highly prospectiveand under-explored regionallandholdings which surround the Company's under-utilized industrial processing complexes.
