| ABSTRACT: | Genius Properties Ltd. proposes, through the acquisition of the El Metalurgista and Parcela “K” concessions, to exploit the mineralized material contained within the Excelsior Mineral Pile (EMP) and Quiulacocha Tailing (QT) forming residues generated by the processing of the Cerro de Pasco Mine Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu ore located in east-central Peru. This report presents the different steps implemented by the company to attain this objective. Genius has come up with diverse scenarios including metallurgical testing and mineral processing, mining and recovery methods, project infrastructures, environmental studies and an appraisal of the social impact to the community. The Excelsior project consists of the the El Metalurgista Concession and Parcela “K” surface land, the latter including the previous concession. Both are situated 310 km by road northeast of the capital city of Lima, at close proximity to the city of Cerro de Pasco and Cerro de Pasco mine, east-central Peru. El Metalurgista occupies an area of 95.74 ha and was optioned by Genius from Mr. Manuel Lizandro Rodríguez-Mariátegui, whereas the Parcela “K” surface land covers an area 293.5 ha and is in the process to be acquired by Genius. | |
