| ABSTRACT: | Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (RPA) was retained by Galway Metals Inc. (Galway) to prepare an independent Technical Report on the Estrades Project (the Project or the Property), located in northwestern Québec, Canada. The purpose of this report is to support the disclosure of an updated resource estimate for the Project. This Technical Report conforms to NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. RPA visited the property on August 18, 2016. As of the effective date of this report, the Project consists of three non-contiguous claims blocks consisting of 298 claims and totalling approximately 14,854 ha located in 1:50,000 scale NTS map sheets 32E/09 and 32E/10, approximately 100 km north-northeast of La Sarre, Québec, and approximately 600 km northwest of Montreal, Québec. The property is accessible by road. Galway is a Toronto-based company formed in May 2012 and is a reporting issuer in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. The common shares of Galway trade on the TSX Venture Exchange and the company is under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Securities Commission. On August 18, 2016, Galway announced that it had entered into a series of agreements whereby it acquired a 100% interest in the Estrades Project, subject to certain royalties due upon commencement of commercial production. Currently, the major asset associated with the Project is a series of zinc-copper-lead-goldsilver massive sulphide lenses located in northwestern Estrades and northeastern Estrées Townships. The Casa Berardi Fault, a regionally significant structure along which gold mineralization is currently being mined elsewhere, bisects the northern portion of the Property. The Mineral Resource estimate prepared by RPA for the Estrades Project as of August 12, 2016 is summarized in Table 1-1. | |
