ABSTRACT:Freehill Mining Limited (ASX: FHS ‘Freehill’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to report more highly encouraging assay results from the Company’s 100%-owned Yerbas Buenas magnetite project in Chile. Assay results from YB-033 confirm that more significant, high grade intersections of magnetite have been discovered across the project as highlighted above. Freehill’s technical team and the Board are very encouraged by the quality of the assay results with more results to be reported. All drilling sample pulps from the Company’s recent diamond drilling program have now been dispatched from ALS Chile to ALS’ Iron Ore Technical Centre laboratory in Perth for iron and magnetics analysis. The Company confirms that there will be no delays in assays being received and thus reported. Figures 1-5 show a quite large sequence of high grade magnetite in hole YB033, clearly identifiable as the solid black core set in the lighter grey host rock. The host rock contains varying degrees of disseminated magnetite. The total sequence is 45m and averaged 42.9% Fe and 51.7% magnetics yield.
