| ABSTRACT: | Freehill Mining Limited (ASX: FHS ‘Freehill’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that all drill core logging and sample preparation to produce pulps at the ALS laboratory in Chile has now been completed from the company’s recent diamond drilling program. Those remaining sample pulps will be dispatched shortly to ALS Iron Ore Technical Centre laboratory in Perth for iron and magnetics analysis. Assays results from two more holes – YB-025 and YB-026 – have today been published and again confirm that more broad intercepts of high grade magnetite continue to be encountered across Yerbas Buenas. Freehill’s technical team is very encouraged. The majority of holes from this drill campaign were drilled at 60 degrees in an easterly direction with the western-most hole on each drill line started well to the west of the structure as defined by geophysics so that the deeper easterly margins of the structure could be defined. This has the effect that the upper portions of some of those holes will penetrate through ground outside the structure and thus predictably contain barren material. | |
