ABSTRACT:Explaurum Limited (“Explaurum” or the “Company”) (ASX:EXU) is pleased to announce the next batch of results from the ongoing resource RC drilling program at the Tampia Gold Project, located 300km east of Perth near the wheat belt township of Narembeen (“Tampia”). A total of 229 RC holes totalling 30,033m have been completed to date, from an initial planned program of 26,200m which was subsequently increased to 35,713m due to the discovery of new zones of gold mineralisation. Assay results reported in this announcement are from an additional 67 holes to those holes previously reported on 12 April, 5 May and 13 June 2017 (Figure 1). Drill collar details are given in Table 1 and a list of intersections in these holes using a 0.7 g/t Au cut off are given in Table 2. A total of 54 of the holes are mineralised, including significant intercepts of. A geostatistical review of the resource drill data to date was completed to assess whether the geological and grade continuity is adequate for estimating a JORC 2012 compliant Indicated resource. Geological continuity of granite sheets that seem to localise high grade gold mineralisation is consistent along strike and down dip throughout the deposit. The open fold geometry to the ore body continues to hold true with more infill drilling. There is also good continuity of gold grades from one section to the next within the geometric framework defined by the geology as modelled by Leapfrog in 3D, including the higher grade implicit grade shells (Figure 2). Preliminary variography supports this, with the experimental variogram for the northern and southern areas defining a short range of 40m and a long range of better than 100m (Figure 3). The statistical and geometric analysis is influenced by the open fold, and this means that variography in a singular direction will capture more variability than it should and also leads to lower estimated grades. Despite this the 3D mapping and geostatistical analyses confirm the current 40 by 40m drill spacing will allow a JORC 2012 compliant Indicated resource to be estimated.
