| ABSTRACT: | Explaurum Limited (ASX:EXU) is pleased to announce all the final results from the scout exploration drilling program around the Tampia pit area of the Tampia Gold Project in the wheat belt region of Western Australia near Narembeen (Figure 1). Commenting, John Lawton, Managing Director: “The discovery of a new style of gold mineralisation at the Mace prospect, which appears to be supergene in nature and related to the creek system that drains the resource area, may well provide additional gold resources and potentially early ore feed to the proposed mine. The consistency of depth, width and grade of gold mineralisation intersected is pleasing. The gold soil anomaly over the creek system extends 13 km to the west of the Tampia resource area suggesting that there is excellent potential to add to the current resource from this style of gold mineralisation. The focus for our exploration effort over 2018 is the testing of the high priority gold soil samples and gravity targets of the eastern greenstone and in particular Gravity Targets 8 and 18. Initial assay results from these targets are expected later this month.” | |
