| ABSTRACT: | Equus Mining Limited (‘Equus’) (ASX: EQE) is pleased to report initial drilling and new surface exploration results and advances in review of potentially remnant brownfield resources from the Cerro Bayo mine district in Region XI, Chile. Initial exploration drilling at the Simmental and Frison Targets Drilling commenced in mid-December for which to date a total of 2 holes were drilled at Simmental (holes CBD001 and CDB003 totaling 194.75m) and 5 holes at Frison (holes CBD002 and CDB004 to CBD007 totaling 1264.1m) (hole coordinates provided in Table 1). To date, all results have been received for the two Simmental holes and approximately 147 sample results (23% of total) have been received for the first 3 holes drilled in Frison (Appendix 1). Remaining results for the latter holes are expected by mid-February. | |
