| ABSTRACT: | Eastern Goldfields Limited (ASX: EGS) (Eastern Goldfields or the Company) is pleased to announce the final set of results from Resource definition drilling at its Siberia Mining Centre (Siberia), located approximately 80km north west of Kalgoorlie within the North Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia (Figure 1). Significantly, gold mineralisation intersected in SKRC072 (11m @ 22.31g/t Au) and SKRC089 (5.0m @ 13.71g/t Au) represent new extensions to existing lodes, with both lodes remaining open along strike (refer to Figure 2). These results will be incorporated into the JORC 2012 Resource and Reserve update that is currently in progress. Executive Chairman Michael Fotios said: “With all results now returned for the drill program targeting the scheduled surface mining event at Siberia, it is clear, based on the strength of grades seen to date, that our exploration focus at Siberia should now shift to targeting underground Resources at the Missouri and Sand King deposits.” | |
