| ABSTRACT: | Eastern Goldfields Limited (ASX: EGS) (Eastern Goldfields or the Company) is pleased to provide this Company update. The Davyhurst Project includes both open cut and underground mining targets and is located 120 kilometres north-west of Kalgoorlie. Processing A planned annual power station shut down completed in June will result in processed tonnages consistent with those in May. Underground Mining – Golden Eagle Underground mining continues to progress well at Golden Eagle, with capital development reaching the forth (335) level in the mine. The intersection of ore is scheduled for later this week. Stoping production is progressing well on the 375 and 355 levels, and is nearing completion on the 395 level. The increase in stoping activity has also lifted the overall head grade being mined from Golden Eagle and sent to processing. During April 47,700t was processed at a head grade of 1.38 g/t with 1,316oz gold poured. Increasing in May to 60,500 tonnes processed at a head grade of 1.84g/t with 3,802oz poured. This continues a significant lift on previous results. Plant stability continues to improve, resulting in increased plant availability and utilisation.
