| ABSTRACT: | Duketon Mining Limited (ASX:DKM) is pleased to announce that several significant results have been received from reverse circulation drilling at the Golden Star and Thompson Bore Prospects. Assays for Henrys Bore RC drilling are still pending. These latest results, along with significant historic intersections (see ASX Announcement 23 October 2017 and Figures 1-5) confirms a major new discovery at Golden Star that is continuous over 500 metres of strike and remains open both to the north, south and down dip. The mineralisation occurs as several stacked lenses within an intermediate to mafic intrusive unit and is associated with quartz veining and sulphide alteration between two strike parallel shear zones. The prospect is along the same geological trend from the Rosemont Mine (Regis Resources (ASX:RRL)). Mineralisation is hosted within a north west trending folded sequence of strongly sheared and silicified mafic rocks, felsic to intermediate intrusive rocks and sedimentary rocks. Mineralisation is associated with sulphide replacement of magnetite and associated quartz veining within a banded iron formation (see Figure 6 and 7). Thompson Bore is located approximately 10km south west of the operating Gloster Gold Mine owned by Regis Resources (see Figure 1). Duketon’s Managing Director, Stuart Fogarty, said; “This is a great result at Golden Star for the team and the shareholders. These are significant thickness and grades across multiple sections.
