| ABSTRACT: | Duketon Mining Limited (ASX: DKM) is pleased to announce that results have been received from reverse circulation drilling at the Golden Star prospect located on the 100 percent owned Duketon Project, Western Australia (see Figures 1 and 2 and Table 1). These latest results, along with previous significant intersections reinforce the potential of the Golden Star prospect. Duketon’s Managing Director, Stuart Fogarty, said; “This is a great project. The more we drill Golden Star the better the results get. There are several qualities that we really like about this project that include, a good strike length, potential along strike and down dip, multiple intersections greater than 50 gram metres, mineralisation close to surface and thick intersections near surface that trend into higher grades at depth. Relative to the other operating mines in the area that have a combined average grade of around 1 gram per tonne, Golden Star is taking shape nicely.” The remaining assays are expected to be received within the next week or two. Additional drilling will be planned once these are received and reviewed in the context of all previous results. Assays from the completed Commonwealth and Thompson Bore RC drilling are also expected to be received in the next week or two. | |
