| ABSTRACT: | Doray Minerals Limited (ASX:DRM, Doray) is pleased to announce that drilling at Doray’s 100% owned Gnaweeda Project (“Gnaweeda”), has outlined wide zones of gold mineralisation on multiple sub-parallel structures at the Turnberry prospect, including several outstanding high-grade results. The Turnberry Prospect is located approximately 15km south east of the Andy Well Gold Project, in the northern Murchison region of Western Australia (Figure 1.). Doray is exploring the Gnaweeda Project for gold mineralisation that could potentially be treated at the nearby Andy Well gold processing facility and has recently increased its ownership of the project to 100% (refer to March 2016 Quarterly Activities Report). Doray’s Managing Director, Allan Kelly, said the Company had recognised the potential at Gnaweeda for an additional ore source within trucking distance of the Andy Well processing plant and the recent results had confirmed that hypothesis. “We’ve now outlined well-defined mineralised structures over at least 1.5km of strike at Turnberry with some very good grades,” Mr Kelly said “Notably, the southernmost line has two of the best results from the programme, 9m @ 10g/t and 10m @ 19g/t, with the mineralisation remaining open at depth and to the south at this stage,” he added. | |
