ABSTRACT:Doray Minerals Limited (“Doray” or “the Company”) (ASX: DRM) is pleased to announce further results from its ongoing Resource infill and extension programme at the Deflector Gold Copper Operation (See ASX Release dated 17 May 2017). In addition to confirming the presence and tenor of high grade mineralisation within the Western Lode at Deflector, a potential northern extension has been intersected in hole DEDD031a. The holes drilled have been focussed on the Western Lode, north of the Shredder Fault (which offsets the lode). To date, the lodes at Deflector have been traced north along strike to a crosscutting dolerite dyke (Figure 1). Previous drilling to the north of this dyke has failed to intersect Deflector-style mineralisation. However, in the course of drilling hole DEDD031a, mineralisation was intersected high in the hole, at approximately 65m below surface. The intersection appears consistent with that observed in the Western Lode of the main Deflector deposit (see core photographs, Figures 2 and 3), with quartz-carbonate veining and footwall massive sulphide development. These intersections returned assays of 0.95m @ 2.4g/t Au from 92.6m and 0.3m @ 6.8g/t Au and 1.2% Cu from 97.5m. While further drilling is required to confirm this intersection and its orientation, it appears that an extension to mineralisation could exist north of this dolerite dyke unit. Initial interpretation suggests that the dyke has been intruded within a pre-existing fault structure which had offset mineralisation.
