| ABSTRACT: | Doray Minerals Limited (“Doray” or “the Company”) (ASX: DRM) is pleased to announce assay results from DEDD049 drilled at the newly discovered zone north of the dolerite dyke at its Deflector Gold Copper Mine. The result from DEDD049 is 7.5m @ 29.7g/t Au including 1.5m @ 110.0g/t Au and 2.8m @ 24.2g/t Au, with copper assays pending. These results correlate with those previously announced for DEDD045 (see Figure 2). This newly discovered zone has been named the Da Vinci lode. In addition, drilling on the next section, a further 80m along strike, has indicated continuity of mineralisation, with spectacular visible Au and Cu mineralisation observed in core from holes DEDD051 and DEDD052 (see Figures 3 to 7). In particular, mineralisation in DEDD052 is also persistent over seven metres downhole. Mineralisation has now been consistently intersected along 120m of strike from the initial discovery in hole DEDD031a. A summary long section (Figure 8) illustrates the intersections received to date. The Da Vinci lode is completely open along strike and at depth. In addition, current drilling has not tested the persistence of mineralisation toward surface. Planning is underway for an extensive RC drilling programme designed to rapidly test the extents of mineralisation. | |
