ABSTRACT:Doray Minerals Limited (“Doray” or “the Company”) (ASX: DRM) is pleased to announce results from the second stage infill drilling programme at the Da Vinci discovery, immediately north and contiguous with the Deflector Gold Copper Mine. This programme follows from that previously announced on 12 January 2018. A total of 7 RC holes for 1,642m and 4 diamond drill holes for 1,697m were drilled following the successful Stage 1 programme announced in January 2018 (see ASX release dated 12 January 2018). The aim of this combined programme was to infill the Da Vinci discovery on a nominal 40m x 20m data spacing, to a depth of approximately 300m below surface. Several significant intersections have been returned, including: Drilling was largely successful in confirming the interpretation of two separate zones of mineralisation at Da Vinci, although the relationship between the two zones has yet to be established. Mineralisation is characterised as a quartz-massive sulphide vein, developed within a basalt host sequence. Copper mineralisation is present as chalcopyrite. The current underground development of the Da Vinci lodes (see ASX release dated 28 March 2018) will expose both the eastern and western Da Vinci structures, with work completed to date intersecting high grade mineralisation as predicted. Following this development, it is planned to undertake a systematic drill programme from underground drill positions, with data spacing of a density suitable for estimation of an Indicated Mineral Resource. Geological and geotechnical data gathered from mapping of these underground drives will also be utilised in an anticipated Pre-Feasibility Study to be conducted to evaluate the potential full-scale mining of Da Vinci.
