ABSTRACT:Preparation of this Technical Report was undertaken on behalf of Cyprium Mining Corporation (Cyprium or the Company). Cyprium has acquired certain mining concessions known as the Potosi Mine Property (Property) located in the Santa Eulalia mining district, Aquiles Serdan municipality of Chihuahua State (Fig. 4.1). Cyprium contracted P. Craig Gibson of Prospeccion y Desarrollo Minero del Norte S.A. de C.V. (ProDeMin) to carry out an examination of the mine and to prepare this report (Figs. 4.2, 4.3). This Technical Report, prepared in compliance with Canadian National Instrument 43-101 (“NI43-101”), is based on published and unpublished geologic and historic data from the Servicio Geológico Mexicano ("SGM"), published NI43-101 technical reports from projects near in the Santa Eulalia district, and other publications and theses completed in the district. This report benefited from discussions and data provided by Alain Lambert, president of Cyprium Mining Corporation, and Ingeniero Roberta Banda, geologist in charge of the exploration program at the project. Verbal communications and a visit to the Potosi mine with Dr. Peter Megaw, a Qualified Person under NI-43-101 requirements, were valuable learning experiences with respect to the origin of carbonate replacement type mineralization and the history to the Project, and Dr. Megaw also reviewed a draft of this report. At the present time there are no resources or reserves defined at the Property. Although the Potosi Mine has seen extensive production in the past, and the Company has obtained the right to use a 100 tpd flotation mill to process material removed from the mine during exploration or development, there are no current economic assessments or feasibility studies for the Property, and any material processed must be considered as pilot or test production.
